Child Development and Early Learning (September 4-October 13, 2023)
*Prerequisite: Student must have completed or be simultaneously enrolled in Introduction to Education Consulting (Parts 1-3)
This six module course includes information and assignments related to the following topics:
- The Importance of Play
- Optimal Learning Environments in Early Childhood
- Child Development Milestones
- Teaching Strategies
- Technology Pros and Cons
- Reading Development

- Students will need online access for approximately two hours per module (six modules) in order to download materials and interact with classmates
- Coursework will take approximately three to four hours per module to complete

Interpersonal Skills for Consulting and Teamwork (November 20-December 15, 2023)

- Verbal and Non-verbal Communication
- Conversation and Listening Skills
- Questioning, Exploring and Referring Skills
- Working on a Team
- Students will need online access for approximately two hours per module in order to download materials and interact with classmates
